Jenny Ambrozek is Founder of SageNet LLC, a consulting practice helping businesses create value by applying collaboration tools to connect with customers, partners and employees. Her work in online interaction began in the mid 1980s with Edutel, an Australian Caption Center supported educational content service delivered on Prestel standard Videotex. Jenny authored The Edutel Book: A Guide to Videotex in Education. Coming to the United States, Jenny joined Prodigy, the pioneering online service where she served as Director, Community Development. In eight years at Prodigy, she brought together a wide range of community components in content areas ranging from entertainment to technology to parenting, and learned firsthand about the importance of day-to-day operating practices to minimize the cost of supporting interaction. Since then, Jenny has helped clients in publishing, learning, and commerce implement successful online community and collaboration efforts. With Joe Cothrel she conducted the Online Communities in Business 2004 study. Jenny is actively involved with the Rob Cross Network Roundtable at the University of Virginia.
